Through the Spring Blossoms

For the last 50 years, I've admired the beautiful flowering trees in the spring in Wildewood Park, in the neighborhood where I grew up. Since I began plein air painting about 25 years ago, I have wanted to try to paint them. Every year, I either didn't have time or was out of town when the trees were blooming at their peak. Finally, this year I was in town during their peak! I was able to paint them two weekends in a row. This is the first one I painted from the walking path looking west through the trees. I did a smaller color study with the view from the road the following weekend.  Was $1100, now just $150 unframed! SOLD
