This painting is the Cottage of Sweets on Ocean Avenue on Carmel, California. This is such a charming little building...one I visit every time I go to Carmel. They have wonderful English candy there...many of the same kinds my grandparents sent to my sisters and me from England when we were little. Was $700...now, retired painting sale, $300 framed.
