Orange Crush

Painted during the 2019 Door County Plein Air Festival. I started this on Wednesday afternoon then was rained out when a big storm blew up. I went back the following afternoon and was able to finish - was thankful for a sunny day and for getting the same parking spot as the day before, right across the street from this scene. I was able to paint right out of the back of my Tahoe! I really loved the bright light on the building and the garden, and the orange sign against the blue shadow. So much fun to paint this!
