The Power and the Glory

It was a challenge to capture the churning waves at Garrapata State Park on this windy afternoon...not only because of the subject but because the strong winds made it a little tricky trying to hold my brush steady and hold on to my easel as well. But it was well worth the effort. The power of the waves, the crashing sounds, the roar of the ocean...it was awe-inspiring! This piece was part of the "Powered by Nature: Seven Women" exhibition with works by myself, Becky Joy, Kim Casebeer, Cindy Baron, Lori McNee, Shanna Kunz Hernandez and Christine Debrosky.
